YUUF

The British band Yuuf consists of Anthony Boatright on bass, Hugo Cottu on guitar, Andrin Haag on handpan and percussion, and Oliver Overgaard on drums. The four band members come from different countries—France, Switzerland, Denmark, and England—and incorporate their cultural backgrounds into their compositions, which are created in London, where they now live and where the band was founded.

Yuuf naturally blends diverse musical influences from around the world to create their dreamy, sun-drenched, rich, and organic instrumental sound. Their releases invite listeners to immerse themselves in a meditative state, while their live shows are characterized by pure energy and joie de vivre. Known for their dynamic performances, Yuuf take their audience on a journey from shimmering ambient passages to powerful, driving grooves that make you want to dance until sunset.

Their early years as a band took them to renowned London venues such as The Lexington, where they played several sold-out DIY shows, among others. An impressive YouTube live session for their debut EP In The Sun, recorded in a mystical forest, has now racked up an impressive 2 million organic views.

These beginnings remain firmly anchored in the band's DNA to this day—as musicians, as a collective, and as a circle of friends. Honesty, dedication, diligence, and a passion for their craft and their art are always at the heart of their music.

On June 20, Yuuf will release their new EP "Alma's Cove" on Ninja Tune & Technicolour, followed by another EP in October 2025. The current singles Alma's Cove and Iman already show how strongly the band resonates with an ever-growing and increasingly engaged audience.

Yuuf continues to thrill listeners around the world with captivating and rousing music, while continuously developing their uplifting and distinctive sound. Live, the band has a special ability: they take the audience on an emotional journey through the entire spectrum of feelings.
