After two albums and over 25 million streams of their debut single "Washed Up", Sharktank are embarking on an exciting new chapter next year with their new single "blade on me" and the announcement of their first EU+UK tour.

With "blade on me", Sharktank show an exciting new facet of their constantly evolving sound world. While their characteristically synth-driven melodies remain bright and infectious, the lyrics paint a contrasting picture - one of heartbreak and inner conflict. "The song lives in a space between holding on and letting go - where togetherness feels like a cage, but freedom cuts just as deep. It springs from moments of contradiction, when you want closeness but need distance. The sound aesthetic reflects this tension - vulnerable and at the same time removed from reality," explains the band.

After a sold-out first tour through Germany and Austria on the occasion of their second album "Acting Funny", a live session for NPR and first appearances in the Netherlands and France, the year 2024 marked a significant milestone on their way to establishing themselves in the European music landscape - with festival appearances at Eurosonic, The Great Escape and the Europavox Festival in France.

Word of mouth did the rest - Sharktank will embark on their first European tour in 2025 to bring their energetic live show and long-awaited new music to the stage.
