FLOAT - The club evening at the Gannet
PØLAROIT
Space and time play a role in polaroit's music. The duo's melodic deep house style expresses the connection they feel to Jonas and Marius' northern German homeland, their geography, as well as the feeling of belonging to a certain point in time, a generation: "We see our music as a snapshot of time and music," they say. Important milestones in their career include collaborations with labels such as Deutsche Grammophon, Stil vor Talent and Ki Records as well as projects with Cercle - including the breathtaking video for Backwaters, which was shot in India. The collaboration with the innovative project Techno Marching Band MEUTE, from which the track Verden emerged, demonstrates polaroit's penchant for pushing boundaries with innovative projects.
Arutani
Arutani, who was born in Venezuela, grew up in Switzerland and lives in Berlin, developed his very own sound early on. Very reduced, but sonically rich, he revives the golden era of minimal music in his own interpretation. Subtle and detailed, sometimes dark, but always uplifting.
guacamolebois
The duo "guacamolebois" mixes their DJ sets with live sound. The groovy beats and spherical sounds are complemented by guitar, vocals, saxophone, synthesizer and a mixture of digital and analog percussion elements. These two opposites, improvised music and fully produced tracks, give their performances a unique dynamic that merges seamlessly with the dance floor.
