It is well known that Oehl, the music project of Viennese pop poet Ariel Oehl, has been serving up danceable poems since 2019. What it's like to start a new life emotionally wounded, Oehl tells us painfully beautifully in the song "Weitergehen". "Every beginning is preceded by an end" Oehl already sang on the song Keramik. This song was titled Song of the Year by the musician Casper in 2019 and Herbert Grönemeyer saw fit to bring Oehl to his label Grönland Records and to engage him as a supporting act on his stadium tour at the end of 2019.
On the second album entitled "Keine Blumen", which will be released on 26 August 2022, people die, drink, fail and lie. But above all, there is blunt living on "Keine Blumen". With all the risks, advantages and deceitfulness. But after all, what else can we do? "Sometimes there are simply no flowers. Life doesn't really want anything, and death even less," Ariel Oehl tells us.
In autumn 2022, Oehl will be touring Germany, Austria and Switzerland with a new line-up and a new album. Next stop: GANNET Basel!
Stay live! We keep you posted!
