ITCH FEST

The end of the Bitch Queens, the band behind Bitch Fest, marked the end of a long-standing era. The new organizers, Lux Noise and Sixteeentimes Music, could not take this for granted. And will continue the festival under the new name Itch Fest.
After all, this event provided sweaty dancing in the dreary autumn and made every couch potato, no matter how rusty, crawl out of the stuffy cave of darkness.
Itch Fest thus remains an important part of the scene and will continue to be presented as the only punk, rock and garage festival in north-western Switzerland that emphasizes diversity and relevance for the scene. As the name of the festival was felt to be outdated, the B was dropped, but the concept remains true.
This year, the event will take place on a smaller scale, but will continue to offer its loyal audience an unforgettable music spectacle featuring local, national and international acts. In addition, there will be a number of offers in the side program under the motto "Pimp your Style".
NEW SAINTS should not be completely unknown to the loyal followers, at least visually. The two former Bitch Queens band members will be playing their first Basel show on November 2. With other national acts such as CARSON, THE HIGH TIMES and BLIND BUTCHER, the evening won't offer much respite. It's been twelve years since Californian band THE BELLRAYS played Swiss stages. As the headliner, the four-piece rock band will squeeze the last juice out of the crowd at their only concert in Switzerland.
Afterwards, DJ Danny Ramone will take care of the heated audience - because after the party is before the party.
