Shakespeare's WHAT YOU WANT
A play with live music
The Festival of Northwestern Switzerland enters its second round at the end of August and returns to the culture ship Gannet in the Holzpark Klybeck.
After a successful start with 'Novecento', this year William Shakespeare's 'Twelfth Night' will be performed.
Mistaken identities, lost twins, false identities and in the middle of it all: love. In 'What You Will', people end up in an unknown place after a shipwreck. There they meet each other, fall in love in unusual ways, slip into other roles and get a little closer to themselves in the process.
Shakespeare shows with wit and heart how confusing, funny and surprising life can be. On board: the sailors' choir Störtebekers Basel, whose songs put the audience in the mood for an adventurous journey.
