The play "Novecento" by Alessandro Baricco is celebrating a very special premiere at the Festival of Northwestern Switzerland: it is being performed on a ship in Switzerland for the first time. The story of the legendary ocean pianist Novecento (Roberto Guerra), who never goes ashore, is brought to life by the backdrop of the culture ship "Gannet" and the accompanying music of jazz pianist Clara Vetter and trumpeter Martin Schranz. The evening opens on the railing with the Störtebeker sea choir before heading into the belly of the ship.
