DER TRÄUMER creates groovy musical and sound-design soundscapes that instantly conjure up images in the mind: an adventurous blend of science fiction ambiance, storytelling, and mystery. Using violin, vocals, electric guitar, keyboards, and the waterphone—combined with soundtracks he produces himself—he creates a mysterious, cinematic atmosphere.
The tracks range from dark ambient, industrial, psybient, ethereal, and downtempo. Sometimes meditative and delicate, sometimes raw and featuring driving grooves—all in immersive 3D sound. The tracks evoke futuristic landscapes, cities at night, abandoned places, or inner journeys—always with a sense of adventure and discovery.
