The songs of Swiss chansonnier Dagobert have always stared into deep abysses and illuminated even the most remote corners of the soul with their haunting melodies and direct words, but they have never sounded as bleak as in his significantly titled new album "Schwarz". Full of harps and flutes and church organs, album number six comes along and does without any kind of percussion.
