Collidescope

Collidescope is a new UK-based modern jazz quartet. With creative energy built up through the long lockdowns in England, the band was able to quickly develop a large repertoire of original music, which they will tour with in late 2022 - subsequent recordings included.

Liam Brennan : alto saxophone
James Borland: trumpet
Tommy Fuller: bass
Kai Chareunsy: drums

All four members have strong roots in the UK jazz scene and have played the biggest jazz festivals in the UK (London Jazz Festival, Cheltenham Jazz Festival, Manchester Jazz Festival and Birmingham International Jazz Festival). After their recent return from a short tour of the North of England, which included performances at Hyde Park Book Club in Leeds and Jazz at Cherry Red's in Birmingham, the band is now looking to expand their horizons into Europe.

Expect a set of completely fresh and top-notch jazz music, heavily influenced by the likes of Thelonious Monk, Wayne Shorter, Paul Motian and Charles Mingus.
