Episode #5: RAW CHICKS.BERLIN

More than ten years ago, filmmaker Beate Kunath already criticized the mostly male line-up in Berlin clubs and started to change something about it. With her own party series RAW CHICKS nights. The result was a film: RAW CHICKS.BERLIN. But is this still an issue today? We think so and show you the documentary about eleven multifaceted, international female music artists from Berlin. It is an insight into the diverse and lively Berlin music scene; a contemporary document that illuminates the often male-dominated music world from a female perspective.
Current debates about male-dominant line-ups at Swiss festivals show that this has still not changed enough. That it is possible to be more female and diverse is not only shown by the film, but also by the TraTra Festival at Holzpark. We use the cinema evening to present you the female-genderfluid program for this year's festival.

Now and then and every now and then, we show you selected films. Themes include temporary use, music and culture, underwater and above-water, the ship's inclined position, or the World Water Ballet Championships.
It may not be the usual cinema experience with Dolby Surround and all the trimmings, but it will be in an unusual atmosphere in the belly of the ship. Drinks are available at the bar and those who like can munch on a plate of pasta in the GANNET restaurant beforehand.
